How verification works

Every passport carries a signed code anyone can check at bitcointalkacademy.com/verify — no login needed. The Academy vouches for it — no more, no less. Records are unlisted by default and show when forum-account ownership was last verified, because accounts change hands.

Questions

Is this a trust rating?
No. A Passport shows completed coursework. It says nothing about whether someone is safe to trade with — always check trust feedback and post history on the forum itself.
Can I buy a tier?
No. Nothing on the Academy is purchasable — tiers come only from completing courses.
Who can see my passport?
Only people you give the link to. Passports are unlisted by default, excluded from search engines, and you can rotate the link or unpublish at any time.
What does the verified badge mean?
Only that the holder could edit that Bitcointalk account's profile on the date shown — account ownership, nothing broader.
Does it expire?
The learning record doesn't. The forum-ownership verification shows its date and asks for a re-check after six months.
